Hamburger Corn Pone Pie

1 lb ground beef
¾ tsp salt
1 c canned, diced tomatoes
1/3 c onion, chopped
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 c kidney beans, drained
1 cup corn bread batter

Brown meat and onion. Add seasonings and tomatoes. Cover and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Add beans and stir. Pour into a greased casserole dish (9x13) Top with corn bread batter, spreading evenly.
Bake 425* for 20 in.
