Granny Smith Apple Salad

1 bag ( 10oz) fresh spinach, or 1 nie head of romaine lettuce
3/4 lb. fried, crumbled bacon
1 c almond slivers, toasted
1 granny smith apple chopped

Washe spinach or romaine and dry wel. Tear ( or cut) into bite size pieces. Add bacon, apple and toasted almonds. ( toast in a 350* oven for 8-10 monutes or till golden brown)
Toss with dressing immediately before serving.

Dressing:
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup oil
1/4 tsp salt
1 Tbs. red or white onion chopped
3 Tbs. cider vinegar
Mix ingredients in blender and pour over salad and enjoy. This salad is wonderful!
