Beef Barley Soup

1½ lbs ground beef
16 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained
2 large diced potatoes
1 c diced carrots
1 c diced celery
½ cup diced onions
6 c water
½ cup barley
¼ c ketchup
1 Tbs beef bouillon granules
1½ tsp seasoned salt
1 tsp basil
1 bay leaf (remove after one hour)

Brown ground beef and drain. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.
