Hamburger Pot Pie

2 pounds ground beef (or pork)
2 ½ - 3 cups diced carrots
1 large onion
8 – 9 medium diced potatoes
2 beef bouillon cubes
½ cup flour, water
Pastry for 2 double crust pies

Brown ground beef with onion until meat loses color and onion is translucent, drain grease. Simmer diced carrots and potatoes in just enough water to cover until tender. Add b3eef bouillon cubes and dissolve. Add ground beef, onion mixture to undrained vegetables.
Combine flour with enough water to make a paste. Stir into vegetables meat mixture, cooking and stirring until thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Prepare pastry. Fit into two 9” pie pans. Pour in vegetable meat mixture (half in each pastry shell), Top with remaining pastry. Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until done.
