Orange Julius

1- 6oz can frozen oj concentrate
1 c milk
½ c water
¼ c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
9 – 12 ice cubes
Mix everything, except ice, together in blender. Add ice cubes one at a time and blend until smooth and thick.

Mariah Tsubaki's Spinach Salad with Tangy Dressing

Salad:
1 bag spinach
1 can Mandarin oranges, drained
1 can sliced water chestnuts
crumbled bacon
red onion, chopped
tomato wedges

Dressing:
1 cup oil
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup ketsup
1 Tbs worcester sauce
1/4 cup cider vinegar
pinch of salt

Mariah Tsubaki's Romaine Salad

Salad;
1 head Romaine lettuce
1 head Red leaf luttuce
Shredded swiss cheese
Bacon, cooked and crumbled
fresh sliced mushrooms

Dressing
3/4 tsp poppy seeds
1/3 cup cider vinegar
3/4 cup oil
1/3 cup sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/3 tsp dry mustard

Ranch Dip or Salad Dressing

1 Quart buttermilk
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp pepper
2 ½ tsp salt ( or less) 2 tsp parsely
Blen all together, Delicious ax a dip, on a gree salad or on baked potatoes.

Taco Seasoning Mix

This is a wonderful recipe for cooks who like to make thir own mixes. Alter it to enhance the flavors you family enjoy.. I always add more garlic and oregano. Experiment to suit your tastes.

1/3 cup dry minced onion
2 tsp salt
2 Tbs chili powder
2 TBs. paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp oregano
2 Tbs flour or cornstarch

Mix ingredients, Cover and store in a cool dry place. Two to three tablespoons equal one package of taco seasoing mix. Stir seasoning mix into meat or beans. Ad ½ or ¾ cup water and simmer 10 minutes
Yields ¾ cup.

Creamy Parmesan Dressing

1 cup mayonnaise
1 clove garlic, pressed
¼ c. cider vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
½ c. grated Parmesan cheese
In bowl, combine all ingredients. Blend to a smooth consistency. Cover and refrigerate. Serve on a nice green salad.
